Scooter was a very good friend. She always found ways of making us feel special and loved. She was quick to befriend Mr Skins when she stumbled across Olde Furts.
When Mr Skins crossed the rainbow bridge at 20, she was there for us. She quickly became a good friend of Penny, who finally could assert herself. After 19 years she had finally achieved her dream of being the only cat! Penny was absolutely thrilled when Scooter sent her her first postcard EVER. Penny was just 19. Unfortunately Penny didn't make 20, but again Scooter was there making us all feel better.
We were absolutely thrilled when we saw that this photo of our 2 old furts wound up in the banner of olde furts. So thrilled and flattered that they hadn't been forgotten.
Scooter was also quick to befriend our new 'kitten', Lucy Lui. (Lucy was a baby at 7!) She made Lucy welcome and ensured she wasn't ignored.
Scooter always remembered the special occasions. This is why everyone loves Scooter.
I would like to think that Scooter can finally nap with Skinny and Penny. The thought of Scooter sleeping peacefully with them brings a smile to my face. Scooter won't be forgotten.
